Crypto’s biggest Washington story has changed since the weekend. Senate Republicans have released a new CLARITY Act proposal, with tougher ethics restrictions and fresh compromises on stablecoins, developers and trading platforms. Republican sponsors say President Trump has accepted the revised package. (Senator Lummis)

Tomorrow will test whether the new concessions can win enough Democratic support to open Senate debate.

The first test is expected tomorrow, Tuesday, September 15, at 7:15pm UK, which is 2:15pm ET. It needs 60 votes. This is a vote to limit debate on taking up the bill. It would be meaningful progress, but it would not make CLARITY law. (Senate Press Gallery)
