XRP Weekly, Sunday 26 July 2026
XRP is still above its bear market trendline, and the momentum never showed up, because the CLARITY Act never showed up either.

This Week
XRP finished the week at $1.09 for the third Sunday running, inside a $1.08 to $1.16 range, while the wider crypto market added about 1 percent. Sentiment finally moved: the Fear and Greed Index printed 26, its first reading out of Extreme Fear in over a month. The price did not care.
Washington gave the week its shape. President Trump signed off on the ethics language that had blocked the CLARITY Act for months, the Treasury Secretary said the bill was on the 1-yard line, and two days later the Senate Majority Leader said it would not pass before the summer break. Away from that, the XRP Ledger put its biggest upgrade in years to a validator vote, and Ripple opened the front door to RLUSD for institutions.
The Consensus
⚖️ The CLARITY Act misses its window. Trump agreed the ethics text, Democrats rejected it anyway, and Thune says it will not pass before the recess.
🔧 Six changes go to an XRP Ledger validator vote, including batch transactions and confidential transfers, the biggest package in years.
💵 Ripple launches Ripple Mint so institutions can issue RLUSD themselves, while monthly transfer volume drops about 26 percent.
